This was the sunrise before an ill-advised half-marathon I completed recently — my first in-person race in two years. I wasn’t even vaguely prepared, but I helped a friend cross the finish line of her first half. Totally worth it, but I will never go into an event without properly training ever again.

And here we have a little love note from nature during a lunchtime walk in the sunshine with Finn.

And last, but certainly not least, this is a double rainbow that I would have missed had it not been for the kindness of my little neighbor — and a gesture of love from God. I’d actually settled in with a book in my room when I heard a knock on my door. When I opened the door, this sweet girl didn’t even wait for me to say hi. She simply pointed to the sky and said, “Double rainbow!” Double rainbow indeed. It was enormous. I couldn’t even begin to get the entire span of color into one photo. Just before that knock on my door, I’d been reading a book on prayer. I gasped, both at the sheer size of this rainbow and its timing. Simply amazing.
oooooooooooo! Amazing! I am not trying to force you but it would mean a lot if you took my survey: https://nighttimewonders738268160.wordpress.com/2021/10/14/help-me-choose-a-logo/
