Just in time for Mother’s Day, I finally got to see one of my kids for the first time in quite some time. It’s difficult enough to get together now that they’re grown and on their own, but it’s been impossible with a pandemic thrown into the mix. But lucky for me, I got to see my youngest and take in a few of my favorite St. Louis sites (that are open to visitors).

First stop: Citygarden

Second stop: a hike through a local county park.

I honestly didn’t care what we did, I was just so grateful for his company. But the fresh air was a definite bonus.
