“Instructions for living a life:
Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.”
– Mary Oliver

I’ve noticed that the older I get, the more astonished I become with the changing seasons.

Have I seen daffodils before? Yep.
Did I still gasp and say, “Wowwwww….!!!” when I first saw them blooming in the park this morning? Yep.

And I will be just as awed with the neighbor’s tulips open this year. Or the lilacs along my running route bloom. Or the dogwood and redbud trees start popping. It never gets old.

Here’s to the season that grabs our attention – and my heart – and won’t let go.
