Early this morning I headed to the Botanical Garden to see if anything was still in bloom or if any fall colors were still hanging in there.
Much to my surprise, I found a little bit of both! In fact, I had more than 130 photos to wade through by the time I got home. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
On my way home, I stopped by Trader Joe’s to pick up a few things. As I stood in line, the 18-month old boy in front of me smiled and played peek-a-boo with me over his father’s shoulder. After a bit, he pointed a pudgy finger at my cart, clearly asking for something. Turns out, he wanted to smell my bouquet of flowers. I picked it up and he pushed his little nose right smack into one of my roses. He breathed it in and then lifted his head back up, a big smile spreading across his face. I marveled at this little guy’s ability to so thoroughly enjoy such a small thing at such a young age. It was adorable.
