Today is National Flower Day! Personally, I think flowers should be celebrated every day, but I’ll take any excuse to make a floral run.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could create a day for all of our favorite things? I would have a Finnegan Day (again, every day). Maybe a Lilac Bush Day. Or a Fleece Blanket Day. Scented Candle Day. Podcast Day. Pink Nail Polish Day. Kids’ Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Day. Colorful Sneaker Day. Pineapple Belongs on Pizza Day. Ice Cream Should Be Consumed Directly Out of the Carton Day. Listen to Spring Birds Singing Day.

Each day brings so many causes for celebration. No matter how tiny the occasion, we should always take a moment to observe them.
