Lessons from Leaves

This year I’ve been noticing a lot of leaves that appear to have been tie-dyed instead of simply transitioning to a solid shade. I love how unique this makes each leaf. Even ones from the same tree can look and transition in totally different ways.

(This one reminded me of a stoplight.)

(If I’m not mistaken, these all fell from the same little tree in my front yard.)

No two leaves are the same in terms of color or how they go about their journeys, yet they share a common origin. Each one is allowed to make its own beautiful contribution to the stunning collective that is the fall season.

If only such differences were celebrated in all facets of life. I’m thinking we have a lot we could learn from leaves.
