Day 8 of the 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge: A beautiful sound.

Answer: The obvious answer would be music, especially Christmas music. Whitney Houston in the Preacher’s Wife comes to mind right away. But in the realm of gratitude, I believe a beautiful sound is the chorus of electronic beeps, whizzes and whirs that erupts when electricity is restored after a power outage. When we lost power for several days thanks to a powerful storm this summer, the sound of the air conditioner kicking in and the hum of the refrigerator/freezer cooling was absolutely beautiful.
