“At the end of the day what really matters is that your loved ones are well, you’ve done your best and that you’re thankful for all you have.” – unknown
Lately my gratitude list has made a much-needed return to the basics:
– air in my lungs
– roof over my head and food on the table
– the opportunity to see and move through this world
– a healthy body
– love of family and friends
– beauty and the ability to create
Life…health…livelihood…lately I’ve seen or learned about a number of lives taken far too early or changed irrevocably on a dime. As life offers us no guarantees, it’s our job to filter through the crap and live in awe and gratitude for everything we have for as long as we have it.
Work hard. Love big. Give thanks.
That’s it.
