Reverence: The Sacredness of Existence

“The stronger the reverence for natural life, the stronger grows also that for spiritual life.” – Albert Schweitzer, French-German theologian

Today I signed up for KindSpring.org’s 21-Day Reverence Challenge. I’m super excited about it. Here’s how they describe it:

“Beauty lies in details. To notice it, you have to be paying attention. In a world that’s enamored by speed and information, it’s easy to lose touch with the simple gifts in each moment. And to drown out the eternal rhythms upon which our everyday lives turn.

The 21-Day Reverence Challenge is an opportunity to tune back into the profound beauty and mystery of being here, and being human. Every day, for 21 days, you’ll receive an action prompt that invites you to reconnect with the wonder and sacredness of existence. You’ll join a community of participants across the globe, as well as have the opportunity to read their inspiring stories and share your own!”
