It’s amazing to me that no matter how many times I visit, our Botanical Garden manages to offer something new every single time.
Naturally there are some favorites that never change, like the Japanese Garden. Click on pano below for detail.
Fall Preview: Got to hear the crunch of leaves underfoot this morning.
But I have never seen acorn caps like these! Aren’t they funky? I thought they looked like little suns or sunflowers.
This was one of my favorite parts of the visit. A wedding party was starting to gather for a ceremony and this older couple was waiting in the front row. They were so comfortably affectionate, like they’ve been happily together for a million years. It was so sweet it made me teary.
And then I walked a bit and crossed paths with the bride and her party on the way to their ceremony. So beautiful. LOVED the pop of red.
Still a little color left in the garden.
I have no idea what these white flowers are, but they remind me of fireworks.
These ponds are some of my favorites in the Garden.
And check out these reflections! Doesn’t the top one look like an impressionist painting?
Another reflection. Check out how still the water was.
Already looking forward to the Garden in fall — and other new discoveries.
Very lovely. Your photos do it justice.
