“May you honor the ways you find light and hope in these days. May you find comfort, strength, and rest in the unexpected moments. May you be open to receive everything that God has for you, even if it looks so much simpler and quieter than you expected.

“May you cultivate hope on purpose. May you find comfort in community, sharing the burdens and blessings of this pilgrimage of hope.

“We bless anything that reminds you to keep going.

“May your soul be a front porch light, shining in the darkness for someone, promising a welcome home.” — Sarah Bessey

The changing seasons always serve as a reminder to keep going. Nature’s rhythm and transitions…I’ve learned when to expect frost flowers in late fall, snow crocus in spring, surprise lilies in late summer. Right now fall is just starting to preview her colors. Leaves look more like little kaleidoscopes. Soon the maples will be turning red, the ginkgos will turn gold and start shedding. The monarchs will migrate. There’s such comfort in this routine, yet somehow each year looks different. It’s reliable, yet beautiful in new and unexpected ways. It keeps me moving forward, looking around, marveling, and saying thank you.
