Today is my day for receiving gratefully. The above zinnias came from a yard a few streets over, as the gardener was encouraging folks to cut what they wanted from the abundance.

And I certainly wasn’t the only one eagerly accepting this offer. How wonderful is it to share the gift of beauty and life with people you don’t even know – just because you can. I hope this kind gesture has brought her as much joy as those who have benefitted.
