I found this silly thing at Trader Joe’s today and had to take it home with me. It’s like Dr. Seuss meets Charlie Brown.

This was after my son’s girlfriend and I made these little cupcakes yesterday. A dozen penguins and a polar bear. (We ran out of momentum.)

And Murphy crashed and burned before us.

Have you ever noticed how our perception of time changes the older we get? I remember how long the season between Thanksgiving and Christmas seemed to stretch on forever when I was a kid. As an adult, it feels like it’s over in a blink. Sure wish we could find a happy medium. I’ve got so many more things I want to do this holiday — and time is running short already.
