Previously pruned, leaves gone, confined by its fence while left to fend off winter’s elements… the outlook seemed a bit bleak for this little thing over the past few months.
But spring is here and our friend is pushing right through with hints of green.
I stopped my run this afternoon to marvel at how profound this little message really was. No matter how grim and gray things get, life eventually (stubbornly) finds its way through the obstacles to change and renewal. We just have to have to endure. And maintain patient hope.
Lord, I’m ready for spring on so many levels.
