It’s the first day of my favorite season. I’ll miss summer’s long hours of daylight, but the cool temperatures and thoughts of fleece make me downright giddy.
Can’t wait to hear the crunch of leaves underfoot.
An injury has put my running on pause and is preventing me from having anything underfoot as of late, but I’m still looking forward to a lot this season.
Mallomars, pumpkins and gourds, hot chocolate, thick sweaters, weekend hikes, a birthday road trip, post-season baseball (go Cards!)…
I’m still hopeful that my injury will allow for a few races before the year is out, but nevertheless, there’s always good on the horizon.
