These came home with me today from a local candy store. Gifts for my boys.

There are so many things that I love about my boys, but the fact that they still love toys ranks right up there at the top.

Even Batman Uglydolls.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the many things I love about my boys.

I love that they can talk sports with anyone…for any length of time.

I love that neither fails to greet our cats anytime they cross paths in the house.
Even if they just greeted them minutes prior.

I love that they are adults and still don’t use profanity.

I love that they’re never embarrassed to be seen with their mom.

I love that they understand that the gift of experience will last longer than any gift you can buy.

I love that they’re different enough to be independent but are still best friends.

I love that they tell me not to worry when we get lost because we’re “making memories.”

I love that we own every single season of The Cosby Show — at their request.

I love that they look forward to our road trips more than holidays.

I love that I can hear them laughing downstairs long after I’ve gone to bed.

I love that they make the world a better place.  Especially mine.
