Road trip

mom and dad and boys

Best part of a too-short weekend: my folks spending the better part of seven hours in the car to go see my photos hanging in our new hospital over in Illinois. Fortunately, the hospital wouldn’t become operational until the next day, so we were able to do a look-through on every floor and see every photo. Thank goodness that a super sweet security guard took us on the tour; there’s no way we would’ve found them all without him. Given how much my parents went through to get there, I’m glad they got to see the entire collection. And I’m very grateful for their support. I’m a lucky girl.

(For fun, here’s a small section of a wall sculpture. I want one.)

  1. Still think it is so amazing that the hospital picked such a talented artist! Congrats again. This is truly the opportunity of a lifetime to have your original works on permanent display for so many.
