Apparently my love for Hello Kitty is more transparent than I thought. I’ve been in my current job for two months and, as of today, I’ve been gifted Hello Kitty five times from at least three sources. I say “at least” because two gifts were anonymous — so I don’t know if it’s one or two people. Above is a Hello Kitty clock that my friend Lolo (from my old office) gave me yesterday. Today I received a Hello Kitty canister filled with Tootsie Rolls. Other gifts included a coloring book, a notebook and a roll of stickers. And each gift has sent me into giggle fits. I love how thoughtful and kind people can be — and how much they are willing to humor me.
