Color Me Happy

Sixty degree temperatures on a January day calls for a celebration with super vibrant colors.
The little balls in the upper left are made from recycled paper pulp and are stuffed with wildflower seeds. Yes, these cute little guys are going to produce flowers!
Upper right and lower left corners are patterns in some cute plates and platters from United Colors of Benetton that I’m currently obsessing over.
Lower right corner is my bright and comfy flannel pjs. I’m pretty sure I had a pair of these in high school during the 80’s neon fad. I think they work better as sleeping gear.
Lately I’ve been trying to incorporate as much color into my world (and my traditionally black attire) as possible. It feels like I’ve had a little injection of optimism and happiness.
And in other happy news, I helped my friend Lolo set up a blog to share updates of her daughter’s engagement and wedding planning. You can check it out here. I can’t wait to watch this unfold. They’re already off to a wonderful start.
One more colorful bit to look forward to: we’re so excited to see this in a few days
Cannot wait, cannot wait, cannot wait!

The Cirque show looks awesome! Let me know all the details…it's not in Chicago until July but I'd love to see it if it's as awesome as it looks.

  2. I will definitely give a full report. I love Cirque anyway, but I can't imagine how cool this is going to be.
