Standing at the kitchen window, I saw something adorable and furry scurry by. I grabbed the camera and tried to sneak outside to get a quick photo. Whoops, scared it. So I stood around and waited. Then this adorable little furry guy scampered up, followed by a baby that I couldn’t manage to get close to.
Then I saw what brought me outside to begin with…a baby chipmunk! Cutest little guy!
All kinds of cuteness at the end of a rather up and down kind of day.
On the up side: this nice article about the boys’ tennis team. Downside (very slight): what a weird photo of the kids. Fisheye?
On the up side: Google celebrated Pac-Man with an online logo thing that you can actually play. Downside (less slight): Okay, Pac-Man is 30 years old? I’m so way old.
On the upside: so looking forward to a few adventures with the kids this summer. Downside (direct slide into dude-this-so-has-the-potential-to-completely-suck): this story. Enough said.
But on the upside: today is Friday. No downside to that one.
Lots of best wishes to my boys’ team at tomorrow’s sectionals. Team State Final Four on the line. Five have qualified for individuals, but it would be great to send the team.
