“Sometimes your ministry looks like everyday things that come naturally for you.
Like smiling at dogs.
Like complimenting strangers.
Like rooting for people behind their backs.

Like folding the laundry.
Like opening doors.
Like saving insects from the rain.
Like praying every time you hear an ambulance go by.

Like leaving seeds out for the birds.
Like planting a garden.
Like sending someone a picture of the sky.
Like spending time with your family.
Like being a tender heart in a wild and crazy world.

Like lighting up at the littlest things.
Like daring to be kind.
Like slowing down to really listen.
Like singing to the tune God gave you
instead of the tune you wished you had.” — @ullie-kaye (Instagram)
Every now and then we get to stumble upon something that makes us feel seen. This Instagram post recently did this for me. Or I guess I should say that this made me feel heard — the little tune of so many little things that make me happy (accompanied by a few photos of things that recently made me happy — an ice melt heart and smile, a little light heart.)
