Closing the week with little notes of gratitude.

A crazy busy week is over and my work went really well. One more crazy week to go. I’m hopeful.
I saw many old co-workers or colleagues from other states this week and received more hugs in a span of three days than I can remember. It’s good to love and be loved.

I’ve managed to squeeze in a walk or two with Finnegan in the sunshine, taking in what’s left of autumn colors.
It’s mid-November and I just put my Christmas tree up. I haven’t put up a tree in several years, but even when I did, I never did it this early. Even without ornaments on it, it adds joy and warmth to my apartment — a place I didn’t think I could love more than I already do.

I’ve found a chai latte that I can make from home that has become an evening staple.
Tomorrow morning will not be accompanied by an alarm.
