“To survive the seasons, you must change with them.
To survive winter, you must learn to rest. This is the season of stillness.

To survive spring, you must be brave enough to begin. This is the season of renewal.

To survive summer, you must trust in your own magic. This is the season of abundance.

To survive fall, you must learn to let go. This is the season of reflection.” — Holly Hatam – The Mindful Artist
She goes on to say, “Winter asks you to rest. Spring asks you to begin again. Summer asks you to trust in what you’ve grown. Fall asks you to let go.
Each season offers something your soul needs.
So, if you’re tired — rest. If you’re starting over — start small. If you’re blooming — believe in yourself. If you’re grieving — let it fall.
Nature never rushes, and you don’t have to either.”
If you’re on Instagram, I highly recommend giving @hollyhatamillustration a follow. Her thoughts are as beautiful as her art that accompanies it. She’s a little bit of therapy and a breath of fresh air all wrapped in a social media post and I love her.
And per her advice regarding this season, I continue to reflect.
