“Keep a list of small, ordinary things that make you happy. A new flower from your plant-baby. That book you can’t wait to finish. When you hear something wonderful that happened to someone you love. Cultivate the habit of everyday joy. After a while, you won’t even happen to try.” —- Nanea Hoffman

Nanea Hoffman has yet to publish anything that doesn’t speak to the best of my spirit. She’s just so clutch.
My list of small, ordinary things that bring me joy continues to grow every day. Especially when we get a reprieve from the summer heat and we can get outside for a stroll in the park.

The flowers…the lakes…this gnarly stand of trees…it all makes me so incredibly happy.

I’m also still loving this little plastic camera. A few of my recent results are above. It’s an exercise in patience to wait until I get home to see the results of a photo venture, but I think that’s good for me.
Yes, embracing the little things is so important! Very often, we move through life without realizing how much we are missing. That’s why I write books. I want to inspire people to celebrate those little things.
I love digital photography, but ever since starting my film journey, I have enjoyed photography even more.
Your photos are very nice!
