The second trip I’m behind on documenting is New York City over St. Patrick’s Day.
And this pretty much sums it up:

Of course this can be said of every trip to New York for me. There is literally no place I’ve ever visited that stirs my mind and spirit the way this city does. But this trip was extra special in that I got to go with my lifelong best friend and my daughter-in-law for the New York City Half Marathon.
And just as New York does, she gifted us with perfection. Beautiful weather, wonderful food, gorgeous art, laughter, spectacle, endless entertainment, more things to do than we could possibly accomplish in the days we were there. (And lemme tell ya, we did a lot.)
The few photos I’m posting only scratch the surface of this trip, but I am going to include the feelings that come with them.

New York, you deliver on the magic every single time.
And for the fact that you gifted me, my bestie, and my daughter-in-law with memories that will last a lifetime … you have my whole heart.
