St. Louis, specifically the Soulard neighborhood, is known for throwing an amazing Mardi Gras celebration. But in all the years we’ve lived here, remarkably we’ve never participated in any of the festivities – including the annual Purina Pet Parade.

But we remedied that today.

Originally, I’d signed us up to walk in the parade with Finn. However, we decided to settle curbside as spectators instead, as Finn was a bit overwhelmed by all of the other dogs. Not that I blame him — dogs were EVERYWHERE. It was fantastic.

Finn might have been intimidated by the other dogs in the area, but he met a new human best friend sitting next to us. He just loved this guy.

What a wonderful way to spend a 60+ degree Sunday afternoon.
