A few scenes from an unexpected trip to the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis this afternoon. What a breathtakingly beautiful place.  With a design containing more than 41.5 million mosaic tiles in 7,000 colors that took 76 years to complete, that ceiling is stunning. I have never seen so many people looking up with their mouths agape.
