This adorable mug is a photo taken by my dear friend Suzy and sent to me yesterday with the message, “Thinking of you AGAIN! This was truly a doggie in the window (Of a laundromat)”

This filled me with so much joy for so many reasons, the most obvious being, well, it’s a pug. Pugs rule. And THAT pug really rules. SO stinking cute.

But seriously, is there a bigger blessing than to have friends who not only “get” you, but turn your quirks and idiosyncrasies into little gifts? In my world, “I saw this and thought of you” is one of the best compliments there is. Especially when your friend is on an Italian vacation and takes the time to share. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
