Adventurous (adjective): willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas or experiences. “Let’s be adventurous.”

When I jokingly said that I was itching to go for a walk in the middle of our ongoing snowstorm, Drew said, “I’ll go with you! C’mon. It’ll make us adventurous!” When I started to protest, he said the magic words: “We’ll make some memories.”

So we pulled on several layers and headed out for a walk. The side streets were untouched save a few sets of tracks from some smug SUV owners.

Even the more main thoroughfares were pretty rough. It’s hard to tell from these photos, but this is some fairly significant snow. Several inches above the ankle.

We’ve got several hours of this to go. Between the time that we got home from our “adventure” and the upload of this post, the snow has accumulated to the point that we’re going to have to have a shovel to get out the front door.
