Between the fall colors, the leaves, the clouds and the wind whipping about, today’s run was one of the most distracted I’ve ever had. It’s not even fair to call it a run. It was more of a jog…look around…stop…take a picture…take another picture…look around some more…jog a bit…la…la…la.
It has become painfully obvious that my running hobby and photography hobby do not coexist easily. There’s just too much beauty in the world to run by without pausing to admire. Especially in my little town.
Poor pumpkins are being pushed aside in anticipation of the holidays.
Although the wind had other ideas for this Santa today.
And this was my favorite distraction of all today. This little girl running with her mom — and totally hanging with her pace.
But then the wind starting moving some less than friendly weather into the neighborhood, so I headed home.
Not the most productive workout I’ve had in a while, but it was pretty fun.
I love this. 🙂
