Since coming home, I’ve shared a ton of the photos from our vacation…save one.
Check out this photo of my dad (on the left, obviously).
It was one of the most unexpected perks of staying with my dad’s older brother.
How fun is it to see my dad at a time he was around my kids’ age?

But then I happened to show the picture to my friend Lorraine.
Wait…he reminded her of someone.
A quick google search, a few minutes later, and…guess what.
My dad reminded her of a modern-day stud.

Um, how weird is that?!

 I showed these photos to my kids.
Drew’s response? “You mean that Coach could’ve been in the Notebook?”

Yeah, this is weird.

Gotta tell ya, I prefer the Coach who wears tennis shorts, galoshes and a parka to shovel snow and prefers reading glasses held together with duct tape and hope. The Coach that I’m wishing a very Happy Father’s Day!
