Nothing tells you that it’s gonna be a good day quite like having your breakfast plate smile at you as you’re putting it in the sink.
But isn’t it the little things that make us smile the most?
These pretty little blooms made me smile at the store at lunch today.
Might have to go back and take some of these home.
Other happy little things:
– cleaning the store out of Mallomars with the intention of sharing the chocolate with others
– discovering that I have a new favorite acapella group
– coming home from work and discovering my kids watching my recording of said favorite acapella group
– omigosh, my kids think I’m cool
– Christmas shopping and immediately finding a parking place
– walking by the “North Pole” and seeing an infant on Santa’s lap whose gender is only evident by the enormous velvet bow on her head
– finding a gift that you know is simply perfect
And one last smile before bed: Mizzou’s men’s basketball is now 8-0.
That’ll do, Tigers. That’ll do.

What a great list! That group was just recently in Chicago (or maybe it was an ad saying they were going to be here?)…I recognized their name, clicked on the link and seeing an ad about them and ticket sales.

The group was at the Fox in October. Can you imagine? But they're going to Normal, Illinois next year. Good excuse for a road trip! 🙂
