Odds and ends…

Just a few images from last week before getting started with this week. Sharing some results from time spent rummaging through my iPhone photos. First, there was a vivid sunset from a walk in the park…
then there was this guy.

As if taking my child to an oncologist wasn’t scary enough. This is the first “person” we saw when we walked through the clinic door. A clown. An oncology clown. Otherwise known as scary times two. I know, I know….the kids thought he was sweet. The kids thought he was funny. I get it — let’s bring some light and laughter into the dark and frightening clinical place. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Next time, please bring the therapy dogs, folks. Maybe the lovely Newfoundland or the Golden Retriever. Clowns really creep me out. And we’re going to be seeing a lot more of you folks. So play nice, please.
Then this is just a little piece of the decor from a nearby Asian restaurant. I only include this to serve as a reminder to myself to put an awesome-looking Buddha exhibit on my calendar for next Saturday. The museum is only open two days a week. So a whim isn’t going to get this one done for me, as I learned this morning. Whoops. šŸ™‚
Guess I’ll close with that. A little Zen does a lotta good.
