….weather, perfect company, perfect day. 

I got to spend this 70+ degree Saturday showing my Mom some really fun places in my zip code! We started out at the local farmer’s market. Lots of families, puppies on leashes, and, of course, locally grown goodies. 

Then we checked out some of the great little shops in our downtown. I love where I live. Our downtown is so cute and quaint. Check out the local candy shoppe. And the Halloween display at Moonbeams was over the top awesome. It’s my new favorite place. 

Lunch was on the patio of a local grille — and a chipmunk ran under my chair. It was hilarious. But it was so nice. Chatting with my mom in the shade of a perfect day. We so rarely get to do that. 

Later this afternoon, we took a drive through Lone Elk Park. We saw several buffalo – including the Big Kahuna – and several elk. The boys’ antlers make them look like they have ladders sticking out of their heads. It was really great to see so many folks taking advantage of the park.

Anyway, much love to my mom and many thanks for a perfect day. Hope we get to do it again soon.
