Bright Side

For the second time in two years, a careless teenager (not one of mine) has hit my car. Post-vacation withdrawal. Work project overload. What a week. However, no one was hurt and the damage to the car was less extensive than the last time. Plus, I’m taking my boys on another mini-trip next month (US Open Series! Yay!). I’m also making a lot of progress at work. So the bright side isn’t too tough to find. And on the literal bright side, I just looked out the window. Daylight hangs on so long during the summer. I love this time of year.
(Aren’t my boss’s flowers beautiful?!)

I am sorry about your car! Joe's car was hit yesterday while it was parked on campus and nobody left a note. Now he has red paint scratched into the side of his door!! I am so mad…and, of course, I backed into his car about two months ago in our driveway. We, of course, paid out of pocket to get his car fixed and never paid for mine since it is an 8 year old car with plenty of nicks. Geesh. Hope things are looking up and glad you have a weekend coming your way!!

  2. Oh no – I'm more sorry to hear about Joe's car! That's awful – your newest car! More damage was done to the kid's car than mine. I felt sorry for him. He was so upset. 😦
