I spy…

Lovely curls…

…and buds with five o’clock shadow. Why the whiskers?
Quotes on change are so cliche, but I read one today that I loved. “It’s not so much that we’re afraid of change or so in love with the old ways, but it’s that place in between that we fear…It’s like being between trapezes. It’s Linus when his blanket is in the dryer.”
I could just picture Linus hugging his hot-from-the-dryer-smells-like-the-Snuggle-bear blanket to his face with a smile of sheer joy. Linus rocks.
Along the lines of quotes. As I was (crabbily) making my way through some nasty traffic, I made a snarky comment about my fellow drivers. From the passenger seat, Tanner said, “You know what the Dalai Lama says. You don’t have to like everyone, you just shouldn’t harm them.” I think the actual quote says something like “if you can’t help someone, the least you can do is not harm them.” But still. It was all I could do to pick my jaw up off of the steering wheel. My boy quoted the Buddha Man. Mamma’s so proud.
