Meet Bender. He’s the therapy dog of a colleague that I’m writing a story about. He is SUCH a ham.
I spent a couple hours of this afternoon getting quality puppy time.
It’s not often that someone turns the camera on me. I’m usually behind the viewfinder, not in front of it.
Sleepy boy was all tuckered out after making our rounds throughout the building. Such a sweet puppy. And his trainer is so lovely and kind. Service dog training and puppy training is an enormous commitment and she does it generously and without hesitation. It’s people like her that remind me that I am blessed to work with some of the most amazing people.

The awesome 'Helga Hat' in the first picture was hand-made by another SSM employee, Marsha Candella, who is the Co-Chair of the MAT team for the network. Isn't that cool?

The Helga Hat is awesome!! That photo of Bender is one of my absolute favorites. I can't believe he sat there and posed for me like that. Such a good boy.
