“Charlie Brown, you’re the only person I know who can take a wonderful season like Christmas and turn it into a problem. Maybe Lucy’s right. Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you’re the Charlie Browniest.”
— Linus
If Charlie Brown is the only person Linus knows who can turn Christmas into a problem, mine is the only office I know who can take something fun like a “cookie crawl” and make it difficult. Our building is having a cookie crawl next week, and in addition to the obvious task of supplying cookies, each department has to decorate according to its favorite Christmas film. Appropriately, we chose “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” I found our decoration over the weekend and we already have it on display. I can’t look at it without laughing. (Okay, maybe the decorating challenge isn’t such a dumb idea after all.)

I love the tree! I would not like, however, having to supply cookies for a cookie crawl. Aren't the holidays busy enough? Okay, I must be a MAJOR grinch. π

I just wish we would do one or the other — for the exact reason you mentioned. You're right — things are so busy during this time of year. I don't want to have to think about that many things for work.
