With my jewelry show coming up, I’ve been creating a lot of new pieces lately. But tonight’s pieces were a little unusual for me. The autumn jasper (above) is so cool. Each bead tells a different story — and named appropriately. And (believe it or not) all of the beads in the piece below are pearl or shell. Even the ones with the little flowers. I have no idea how that color combination fell together, but at some point, I just went with it.

Thanks, Amy!! About once a year, I have a jewelry show for the folks I work with. My boss hosted it last year and I'm hosting this year. I feel funny when people ask to buy my jewelry at work. This feels more…appropriate.
