Draw a crazy picture,

Write a nutty poem,

Sing a mumble-gumble song,

Whistle through your comb.

Do a loony-goony dance

‘Cross the kitchen floor,

Put something silly in the world

That ain’t been there before.

Just some random photos from a little exploration over the past weekend. Sometimes lovely, mostly creative, even a little silly and altogether fun stuff. The resulting images reflected the personality of the area and my mood for the day so well.

I was reminded that don’t make this investment in myself nearly often enough these days — just spending a few hours without a fixed agenda beyond seeking out and stumbling upon interesting things and letting myself be inspired. But I see a lot more of it in my future.
