Got in one more run today in an attempt to beat the nasty storm headed our way. If we get the snow and temperatures local weather folks are anticipating, it’s going to be awhile before I get to run outside again. So I savored several miles, loving all of the quirkiness that is our little town.

^^ Someone had a happy ending. As a fellow cat owner, it made me smile.

^^ After seeing a forest of discarded Christmas trees littering curbsides, I had to laugh at the house who hasn’t yet managed to part with their pumpkin. Christmas on the porch, Halloween at the street.

^^ I’m pretty sure I’ve posted this before, but this house still confuses me. Maybe the snow made it particularly *pop* today, but the weirdness caught my attention again today.
When I got home, I started thinking about all of the photos I’ve taken along my runs…and all of the funny little things that appear along my routes. A quick glance at my instagram feed shows just a few:

Now we’re home and settled in, waiting for the big freeze and snow storm. Settled in the living room with a couple of pizzas and blankets, we’re watching football.
Well, some of us are. Levels of enthusiasm vary greatly.
