Today’s blog post on Colossal provided a treasure trove of gorgeousness on multiple levels.* First, there’s this magical time lapse video of the 2013 Albuquerque Balloon Festival. My life’s “looking forward to it” list just expanded by one outrageously breathtaking visual feast. Geez, I thought OUR balloon race was awesome. It pales in comparison. Look at this thing! (Note Pepe LePew’s head in the midst of the masses.)

But then there’s the introduction to photographer/videographer responsible for the video, Joel Schat. Two words: Oh. My. 

SO good.
