Cute little Valentine treats, made for my sweet boys.
These are Mini Kiss Pies.
Ingredients:
1 refrigerated pie crust (unless you’re an overachiever and make yours from scratch. I’m not.)
14 Hershey Kisses
1 egg white whisked with a tablespoon of water
powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat over to 350 degrees
Place kisses on rolled-out pie dough, cut 2 1/2 – 3 inch circles around each kiss
Fold two opposite sides of circle together up and pinch around top of kiss
Fold up two remaining side up to tip and pinch edges
Press all edges together to form criss-cross
After all little pies are formed, brush lightly with egg white and sprinkle with granulated sugar
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes until golden.
Cool five minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool.
Dust with powdered sugar.
Done!
