Lookie who we saw during lunch on our way to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park!
Two black bears decided to chow down right outside the windows at this dive of a restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
This one was opportunistic and lazy, not even bothering to stand up to eat.
This bad boy, on the other hand, was a little more determined.
Then we went to Lake Superior again. Swoon.
The Pisces in me was altogether thrilled with this trip. The mother and daughter in me was quite happy, too. A big thanks to my mom and my boys for another wonderful adventure – and a very dear work friend for making it possible.
