First significant road trip of our vacation: Pictured Rocks, Lake Superior, and Munising, Michigan. 

I’m convinced that Michigan is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen…lakes, waterfalls, endless landscapes… 

Do not underestimate how jealous I was of those four tiny kayakers in the below photo. I’ve officially added a new item to my list of things to do before I die: kayak around Pictured Rocks. 

When we headed to the beach below, we were greeted with some frisky waves along the shore. Made for some tough message-writing in the sand! Every time Drew would wrap up his note, a wave would sneak up and wipe it out. 

But I got ours in.
