My fortune kind of creeped me out: 

“There are some big changes ahead for you.”

Well, my older son’s last day of his high school career is Friday and my younger son is about to become a senior. Those are big changes. But I already knew that. “Big changes” seemed more unexpected – and ominous. 

Then Tanner gave me another fortune cookie to open.

“You will take a chance in the near future, and win.”
