It’s true.

Those who matter really don’t mind. Thanks, Dr. Seuss.
So, as I indicated yesterday, I did/said something that was totally me. So much so that I wasn’t so sure how comfortable I was with it. Long story short, my impulsive actions yesterday resulted in one heck of a birthday gift today: Tanner and I got to meet Trevor Hall. Or, if you want to get right down to it, I got to see my son meet his hero. (I posted about one of Trevor’s concerts a few months ago.) I’m still trying to wrap my mind around our good fortune. What a kind and stunningly generous guy. Every kid should have a hero like him.
And guess what’s luckier still? We get to see him in concert again next week.
At six minutes before midnight tonight, I officially turn 40 and this chapter will come to a close. But I’m heading into a new chapter with a happy heart that is overflowing with gratitude.
