Birthday Girl

“The truth is, even if she weren’t my mom, I’d go out of my way to be friends with her.”
— Leigh Standley
A mini me with my Mom and Dad on the beach in Savannah. Many, many years ago.
Fast forward to today. My Mom hasn’t changed a bit*. In fact, she is more beautiful now than ever — inside and out. And today she has a birthday. Wishing her all of the Panera coffee, crossword puzzles, dark chocolate covered cherries, and perfect pedicures that her heart desires.

*hairstyle excepted. But you rocked the hair back then, too, Mom.
