Don’t these leaves kind of look like Big Bird tracks? Ya know, when I was a kid, Big Bird was never my fave in that place up where the air is sweet. So I was a bit disappointed when I took the Sesame Street character quiz and discovered that my personality most resembles that enormous walking yellow feather duster. I was thinking more in terms of the Cookie Monster. High energy, a little zany, obsessed with sweets, that sort of thing. But as it turns out, Big Bird has his merits. Here’s his description according to the quiz:
“I have a wonderful imagination and am very creative. I sometimes can get too excited over new things, which often leaves me feeling disappointed when things don’t turn out like I planned. But I never stay down for long and always try again.”
Yeah. I guess that fits.
On an unrelated note, get a load of the men’s match tonight at the Open. Two spaniards. One’s first name is Rafael, the other is Feliciano. And they’re both as hot as their names. How can anyone not love this sport? Omigosh! Frank Robinson and Hank Aaron are in the crowd at the Clijsters match! Now that’s cool!
