Today I got to puppy-sit for Bender while his trainer helped out with team training at Support Dogs. This is a big stage for a person who is receiving a service dog. The person is matched with his or her dog and they learn to work together. Neat! So Bender stayed with me today. He was good company — and such a  character. My favorite stunt of the day was when he alerted me that he needed to go out. He actually picked up his leash in his mouth and brought it to my desk. He sat there and looked at me, leash in his mouth and tail wagging. Okay boy, let’s go. Our walk allowed me to see some lovely things, as did a walk at Powder Valley tonight.
